Artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as a transformative tool in regulatory science, revolutionizing traditional approaches to ensuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of products and services. As also stated in the EMA draft reflection paper on the use of AI in the medicinal product lifecycle, the quickly developing field of AI shows great promise for enhancing all phases of the medicinal product lifecycle, while also introducing new risks that need to be mitigated to ensure the safety of patients and integrity of clinical study results.
In this RSNN Workshop we want to share knowledge and experiences of the use of AI in regulatory innovation from the perspective of regulators, patients, industries, academia, and other stakeholders. Discussions with the audience, representing various backgrounds, are a critical element in this respect.
