RSNN Annual Workshop 2025: presentations and photos are now available

News News

On November 18th, RSNN celebrated its 10 year anniversary during the Annual Workshop.  The Annual Workshop focused on Single Arm Trials with its benefits and challenges.

The Annual Workshop focused on the current developments around Single Arm Trials (SATs). A SAT is a type of clinical study where all participants receive the same treatment or intervention. Unlike randomized controlled trials (RCTs), which include both a treatment group and a control group, SATs do not have a comparison group. During the Annual Workshop, we explored the promises, challenges, and impact across the value chain.

Experts with various backgrounds joined us during the Workshop, which sparked interesting discussions. SATs make it possible to bring new innovations to patients in case of for instance rare diseases for which RCTs are not possible to perform. However, some uncertainties are associated with SATs that complicate to determine effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of a new innovation.

A meeting report will be published and shared December 2025.
