Tuesday's (November 17 2020) online RSNN workshop ‘Leveraging the value of collaboration - from regulatory science to regulatory innovation’ has been very inspiring. It was a strong signature of the strength of the Dutch regulatory science landscape.

The RSNN interview series aims to give a better insight into the persons and organizations involved in the activities of RSNN. It also provides an opportunity to highlight some of the current topics in the Regulatory Science field.

On 8 December 2020, the Regulatory Science Network Netherlands (RSNN) will organize a virtual expert meeting on non-biological complex drugs (NBCDs).

The eight edition of the RSNN Newsletter has just been published. This edition features an interview with Marjon Pasmooij (CBG-MEB), news and updates on past and upcoming events.

On 9 October 2020 from 16.15-17.00, Prof. dr. Bert Leufkens, chair of RSNN gave his farewell address titled "Over de Randen" at Utrecht University.

On 23 June 2020, RSNN organized an Expert Meeting titled: label modification based on evidence deriving from investigator-initiated trials.

During the virtual DIA Europe 2020 conference from June 29 to July 3, the RSNN organized a session with the title “How Regulatory Science Shapes Policy”. The session, which was hosted in the afternoon of the first day of the conference, attracted more than 350 attendees.

The RSNN organized an Expert Meeting on 18 February 2020 to discuss and elaborate on potential research questions around precision medicine for chronic diseases, using diabetic nephropathy as a case. A total of fifteen experts and stakeholders participated in this meeting in a personal capacity to discuss this theme.

The RSNN workshop, originally planned on 8 April 2020 has now been rescheduled. The new date for the workshop is 17 November 2020.

The Covid-19 crisis asks for efficient and timely regulatory responses from relevant stakeholders.

Utrecht University is looking for a Full Professor Drug Regulatory Science (1.0 FTE)

On 29 and 30 September DIA organizes the Regulatory Science Forum in Utrecht in which RSNN will participate.

On November 28, 2019, the RSNN organized an Expert Meeting with the topic ‘The interface between authorisation and reimbursement (HTA)’. Sixteen experts from government, industry, clinical practice, universities and industry associations, discussed this theme in an informal setting.

On the 23rd of September 2019 the RSNN hosted a session during the FIGON Dutch Medicines Days in Leiden. The session was chaired by Peter van Meer (assessor at CBG-MEB, vice-chair RSNN) and Joop van Gerven (chair of the CCMO).

On 28 November 2019, the RSNN will organise an ‘Expert Meeting’ on the topic ‘The interface between authorisation and reimbursement (HTA)’.
