RSNN workshop 2022: presentation files and recording now available
On 5 September the RSNN organized its Annual Workshop. We are looking back at a successful afternoon with great interaction, inspiring speakers and insights from various stakeholder groups (patients, industry, academia, and regulators) on the topic of patient preferences. -

Report of RSNN session @ FIGON DMD/EUFEPS 2022 meeting now available
On 2 June 2022 the RSNN hosted a parallel session during the FIGON & EUFEPS European medicines days (www.figondmd.nl) in the Stadsgehoorzaal in Leiden. The session was chaired by Sini Eskola (EFPIA) and speakers from different backgrounds were present. -

Registration for the RSNN Annual workshop is now open. This year, the workshop will take place on 5 September and focus on the topic "Patient preferences: towards a more structural incorporation in the regulatory pathway". -

RSNN appoints new chairs, welcomes Carla Vos to steering committee
The Regulatory Science Network Netherlands (RSNN) is excited to announce that Marjon Pasmooij (CBG-MEB), Sjaak Bot (Janssen) and Peter Mol (UMCG) have been appointed as new chairs of RSNN. The new chairs each represent one of the three main stakeholder groups within RSNN: regulators, industry and academia. -

Carla Jonker successfully defends PhD thesis on rare disease registries
On 15 February Carla Jonker successfully defended her PhD thesis titled “Rare disease registries: a must for regulatory decision making” at the University Hall in Utrecht. -
EMA launches Regulatory Science research needs initiative in online event
On Tuesday January 18th, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) hosted the Regulatory Science Research Needs (RSRN) launch event. The online event was organized to inform the public and stakeholders, such as researchers and research funders, on the RSRN initiative. -
RSNN workshop 2021: presentation files and recording now available
On 23 November the RSNN organized its Annual Workshop. We are looking back at a successful meeting with great interaction between the participants. The hybrid setting allowed a large audience to attend in person or online. There were many learnings from the various perspectives of the speakers on the topic of upstream convergence and downstream divergence. -
RSNN Expert Meeting Report - Regulatory Readiness Levels
The RSNN expert meeting on the topic of ‘Regulatory Readiness Levels as a tool to drive regulatory innovation’ took place on 29 June 2021. Eighteen experts affiliated to academia, industry, and government bodies were invited to discuss the topic. The full report of the meeting is now available. -
